See Us on Bitchin' Rides on Motortrend TV

Kindig-It is truly a one-stop shop for some seriously custom rides. There’s even a state-of-the-art 3D printer and Wurth “vending machine” setup right in the shop to craft and create custom parts practically from thin air. Of course, the CF1 is essentially a tribute to the 1953 Corvette from a clean sheet of paper. Kindig simply brought Harley Earl’s legendary design into tack-sharp focus. Although the 1953 Corvette’s place in automotive history is secure, it was a product of its era and by today’s standards, the car looks tall and tubby today from certain angles. Kindig’s reimagining tightens up the space between the top of the wheel wells and the fenders to a smooth, brutal effect.

Dave was all smiles as he explained to us that he liked doing things like that for fans. You’d never know that Dave never had any formal art training by looking at his countless renderings, all of which hold a dear place in Dave’s heart as well as prime real estate on the walls of the custom shop. Starting out working on his own cars at the age of 16, and shortly after got into autocross racing. This opened the door for him to meet some like-minded individuals who allowed him in their shops, tinkering on the weekends; a hobby quickly turned into a profession. Coeli has started its rebranding journey and has just developed a new graphic profile together with Klingit. As a trusted partner, Klingit helps to implement Coeli’s new identity in all types of marketing and communication materials.

Body Man

Along with a white version that echoed the 1953 Corvette’s color combo, this silver-blue car was unveiled, as well. Spending the day at Kindig-It Design only solidified our excitement about the company. From the impeccable builds to the people that make them all happen, we were nothing but impressed at what we saw. He loves working at Kindig-it Design, he’s able to wake up every day and do what he loves doing; surrounded by co-workers that are like family.

He has been married for 18 years and has two sons that are 12 and 9 years old. He loves to spend time with his family and likes to go fishing whenever he can. He also really likes to play footbag (which is commonly known as hacky sack). Brian is a key member of our body team and helps make our cars curves look sexy.

Working with the visual designers at Klingit, you can create a cohesive and unified aesthetic that ensures you present your brand as credible and trustworthy. Undeterred by what some of the “good ole boys” might think about women in the automotive world, Charity told us that her best defense against such stereotyping is her attitude. “A little sass and confidence usually get’s me through most situations,” she explained. It may have been a leap of faith nearly 18 years ago, but the choice to start Kindig-It Design couldn’t have turned out better for Charity and Dave Kindig.

During the launch of their new brand, Growth Marketing Manager Zemika, decided to collaborate with Klingit to get all the assets in place — without ever expanding their in-house marketing team. Rothsport Racing built the 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine, bringing 600 horsepower (700 horsepower in track mode) to an already exceptional car... Originally from Madison Wisconsin, Chris moved to Salt Lake City for a change of scenery. Chris has been with Kindig-it Design since April of 2021 and has loved it ever since.

His interests are focused on classic cars, attending car shows, and constantly growing and changing his personal collection of cars. They have two daughters; Sidney married to Derrick, and Madison, married to Jordan. Klingit’s graphic design agency has transformed the delivery format and created a much more responsive and predictable payment solution. Klingit offers several packages for you to find a solution that suits your company’s needs and budget. High-quality visual content at reasonable prices is what Klingit is all about. A significant advantage of working with Klingit is always having instant access to high-quality graphic design.

Kevin Schiele has worked for Kindig-it Design since 2004 and runs our 27,000 sq ft shop. He has an unparalleled passion for the industry and has spent many long hours in the shop making sure that every build is just right. From the start to the finish of each build – he is there.Kevin specializes in chassis and suspension but is truly a jack of all trades. He is also Kindig-it Design’s Mother Trucker and can be seen on the highways of America; cruising around in the Kindig-it Rig heading to and from the next big show.

The idea that a car collection could do for clients and their audiences what Tommy has perfected for people already in love with cars at shows, charity events or participating in his race team. Tommy and his father continued working on rebuilds, entering them into Concours shows and winning many awards and exposing Tommy to a wide range of vehicles beyond muscle cars. Although Kindig’s design and build prowess are on full display here, a significant part of building a modern restomod is the final assembly of a myriad of aftermarket parts and Dave only uses the best.

Brandon feels that this is the best shop to work for and there is no other place he would rather be. In his spare time, you can spot him on his custom Harley or in the garage spending quality time with his rides. “I was absolutely terrified to take this leap of faith with him,” Charity explained. Like many renowned automotive builders, Dave Kindig started his career in the family garage. While carrying on a full-time job, Dave worked on side projects for friends and family members in a mere 24×36-foot garage space, dreaming of one day owning a custom shop of his own.

While at SEMA Joseph met up with the Kindig-it Design team and applied for an open position and in April of 2022 was hired on. When not slinging out some of our iconic door handles; Drew enjoys spending time and going on adventures with his wife Kara. Jason loves working with his hands and has a passion for mini trucks even building his own.

Trying this option, you’ll quickly discover how easy it is to order graphic design from us, and how quickly we provide results that strengthen your company’s identity and brand image. It’s neither valuable timewise, nor cost-effective to hire an agency every time new graphic design material for digital media needs to be developed. With Klingit, you don’t need to have that competence in-house either. Letting our experts take care of your projects effectively, efficiently and quickly will be significantly cheaper. We all know a picture paints a thousand words, and in business, good graphics can equate to thousands of pounds! However, we believe graphic design is art with a purpose, and we have visionary people who can create that art for you.

Of course, the separate but conjoined upholstery shop, JS Custom Interiors, will remain “in-house” at the facility, doing all of the custom interior work for the Kindig-It builds, as well as many others. The state-of-the-art equipment and automotive-minded individuals that make Kindig-It Designs one of the industry’s top shops all work in unison. Born in Loudon, Tennessee the foothills to the Great Smoky Mountains , Harlan moved to the Nashville area before making the trek out to Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to ending up in our shop, Harlan worked for Concours Restoration working on ’20’s and ’30’s era cars welding and fabricating door bottoms, quarter patches, window channels, etc. He fell in love with the Paint and Prep side of things early on in age when he used to tear apart Hot Wheels to paint them. Originally from Hollywood, California, Roy used to own his own Hot Rod Shop and was a mechanic for LAPD tow yard.

But even though the shop has grown leaps and bounds in size, employees, and the number of customs produced each year, Kindig-It Design still maintains its family-like feel and full hands-on approach from top to bottom. But what is probably one of the main highlights is documenting truly passionate people and getting to experience the inner workings of their life’s passion – it’s truly inspirational to work with such passionate people on a daily basis. On the way out to yet another event, we were able to do just that and spend a day with Dave Kindig and the crew at Kindig-It Design. When it comes to high-end hot rods, serious Pro Touring musclecars, and some of the raddest rides around, Kindig-It Design in Salt Lake City, Utah, ranks among the top builders. But this feature isn’t about the amazing cars and trucks that come out of the Utah shop, nor is it about the company’s founder, head honcho, and current television star of the hit Velocity show Bitchin’ Rides. Hallie is originally from Tehachapi, California where she moved from her sleepy little town in 2015 to follow her husband, Pete, out to Salt Lake City for him to chase his dreams.

Brandon is originally from West Valley Utah chills up north in Ogden now. His laid-back wife, kick-ass son, beautiful daughter and two awesome Pitbulls make up the rest of the family. Joining the Kindig-it crew back in 2010 as a Body Man gave him a chance to work with longtime friends KevDogg and Dave. Brandon’s focus is still on bodywork, but he will also regularly step into other roles of the business as needed to keep the builds on track. Every build he has been a part of offers something new and is revered as another accomplishment.
